InRule Technology® Releases InRule® Metrics to Provide Enterprises with Actionable Insights into Automated Decisions

Last updated on Aug 13, 2024

CHICAGO – InRule®, provider of the industry-leading decision platform, today announced the release of InRule Metrics, a new capability that allows enterprises to track progress toward key performance indicators (KPIs) and desired business outcomes.

Released with InRule 5.4, InRule Metrics makes it easy to analyze and compare the impact of automated decisions on business goals. By displaying decision outcomes inside of today’s most popular analytics platforms, including Microsoft Power BI and Tableau®, InRule enables data-driven enterprises to gain insights into how automated business decisions can be adjusted to meet and exceed vital business KPIs.

Selecting the data or decisions to be tracked by InRule Metrics is as easy as checking a box from within InRule’s irAuthor interface. As decisions and business rules are executed within the InRule Decision Platform, the data is gathered and emitted to a Metric Logger.

To meet demand for a range of desired logging locations, InRule has implemented an adapter-based model that allows users to write metrics to any location that is required in an implementation. There are currently three adapters available in GitHub: Azure Table Storage, SQL Server, CSV.

According to Dan Reynolds, InRule vice president of Product, “InRule Metrics paves the way for teams to visualize and understand the impact of automated business decisions on the enterprise. Teams can then take action with confidence, pushing and pulling the various levers behind automated decisions to achieve KPIs and maximize business results.”
