InRule Technology® Announces Business Process as a Service (BPaaS) Partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise

Apr 5, 2016

NEW ORLEANS, LA. – Apr. 5, 2016 – InRule Technology®, provider of InRule®, the premier business rule technology for the Microsoft® platform, today announced a partnership to help Hewlett Packard Enterprise advance its Business Process as a Service (BPaaS) solutions.

Gartner defines BPaaS as “the delivery of business process outsourcing (BPO) services that are sourced from the cloud and constructed for multi-tenancy. Services are often automated, and where human process actors are required, there is no overtly dedicated labor pool per client. The pricing models are consumption-based or subscription-based commercial terms. As a cloud service, the BPaaS model is accessed via Internet-based technologies.”

The offering delivered by InRule and HPE meets industry demand for a BPaaS solution that is flexible, scalable and leverages COTS technologies. InRule enables technical and business users to change rules and calculations within applications — without programming effort —to help organizations keep pace with changing marketplace needs. InRule makes business decision logic more consistent, transparent and shareable by allowing business users and developers to more easily author and manage decision logic.

The initial deployment of the InRule-HPE BPaaS offering is underway at one of the largest financial institutions in Australia.

“We’re proud to partner with HPE to empower organizations around the world with the ability to maximize their technology investments to advance growth and meet evolving customer needs,” said InRule Technology CEO Rik Chomko. “By bringing users across a range of verticals the power of computing without the complexity of programming, InRule delivers the flexibility required for organizations to remain compliant and competitive.”

“The modernization of legacy systems can be a daunting prospect for many organizations and the competencies of cloud, mobile and social add additional layers of complexity,” said Anthone Withers, director and general manager, Microsoft Business Application, HPE. “By partnering with companies like InRule Technology, HPE can deliver agile, scalable solutions that meet our customers’ business objectives while providing valuable ROI in less time, allowing organizations to maintain their competitive edge in the market today and in the future.”
